The intelligent 2-channel coupling module with watchdog function WDR-2 also monitors the function of controls such as a PLC. If the continuous signal (watchdog) of a controller drops, the coupling module evaluates this as a failure of the controller and switches on or off in a defined manner.
The additional module WZR-1 is available for pulsating watchdog signals. This module is required once per system.
Manual operation is indicated by an LED on the device, and the 24VDC signal at terminal S is also used to indicate manual operation.
Digital manual or emergency operation
The coupling module can be switched to manual or watchdog operation. In this way, two relay contacts can be switched on/off independently of a controller.
DIN 45 mm housing
With its standardized housing, the coupling module can be installed behind the cover with a 45 mm cut-out, taking up a width of only 17.5 mm. The switching status indicators (LEDs) are visible, the AUTO-OFF-ON switches are accessible, and the connections are protected behind the cover.
Rotary switches
To protect against unintentional switch adjustments, the function switches are designed as rotary switches. The functional setting can only be made consciously.
